The cold that I caught this weekend couldn’t have come at a more perfect time---- the same week I accepted and started a new job as a marketing coordinator! wooo

Sifting through all the topics on my mind the first word and feeling that is appearing to me like a figure in the mist is a sweet sanctuary. Being sick makes me need to have my comforts around me, helping me retreat into a safe haven. Setting that up for myself has been quite the labor of love. Moving out west to live with my oldest sister, Belen, and her partner Chris and their daughter has really made me take a look at a lot of my habits and self care practices. Recently, my efforts of applying for marketing jobs has paid off! Which feels perfectly timed as well, as I was starting to doubt myself a teenie bit, HAha giirl.

Creating a sanctuary, feels like the safest form of resistance today. Creating peace inside the home is crucial for our society. If we can learn to love one another in our own home space, we can bring that sanctuary and love to our neighbors and communities- we should be bringing those peaceful and open minded vibes to the function. Especially, since it feels like this world- and everywhere I seem to turn, is on fire.

How can I consistently invite a peaceful presence into my room / home / space, anytime? How do we practice conscious non-violence in our home and communities when everything feels toxic and regressive in a certain sense?

This place is safe here. We want peace, harmony, love, creativity, and happiness in life. We make all that happen. Experiencing this world in an authentic, curious, and non-threatening way is the key to freedom.

I would love to read your thoughts!!

Talk to you soon!

xoxo Charley
