Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Recently, I moved from Pennsylvania to Idaho 💔 There is a quiet storm inside me for the east coast, for sure. I miss her dearly.
“This is a new adventure!” I remind myself often. It really is, and it’s a wonderful one! It’s just new and different which makes it a challenge.
As a natural Capricorn, I want to have a higher production output. Participating in creating new things, new ideas, products, content is what I strive for in my own life. Sometimes I just feel so frozen, if I may be vulnerable for a moment.
Art, music, poetry, stories, and games keep me hanging on by a thread in our reality. I reach out for different perspectives other than my own feelings of humanly incompetence and insecurity, if I may be a tad vulnerable with you.
Vulnerable.
The west is wide open expanding spaces, limitless with possibilities. It makes me feel very vulnerable and open to anything really.
It’s thrilling really. Scary if I’m truthful.
So I struggle with this space a little bit. How do I be vulnerable and truthful with you? With myself in general?
I asked my wonderful friend Maddi for some tips on helping me ground and give myself time, love, care and patience to rebalance while I figure out how to be in an entirely new space.
This Valentine’s Day I am embodying self love. Self compassion for where I am truly at, and I will be rewarding myself with chocolate delicacies and other wonderful worldly indulgences.
I will be asking questions of how can we deepen the love with our own hearts first? How can we fall in love with our true self? Where is there the balance of accountability and reaching forward for a better personal future? Through another major transition in my life, I’m learning how to have a deeper more extraordinary love with myself and everything around me- or at least I’ll keep trying.
Let’s discover these answers together this Valentine’s Day!
